Overview

This node multiplies the colors of its two inputs together to produce its final result.  Colors in Genetica usually fall between 0 (no brightness) and 1 (full brightness), although colors in Genetica are not clipped so values outside of this range are also possible.  A value of 1 in Genetica corresponds to a value of 255 in many other graphics applications.  Since multiplying numbers that are less than one yields a result that is smaller than either of the original values, the result of this node will tend to be darker than either of the inputs.

Inputs

This node takes two inputs that are to be multiplied together.  Due to the commutative property of multiplication, it does not matter which input is which.
