Description
Exposure
Brightens or darkens the environment map in a way that imitates changing the exposure setting on a camera.
Gamma
Modifies the relative brightness of different parts of the image using a gamma curve. This property can help simulate the response to light that different cameras and display devices have.
Heading
Rotates the environment map as if a person observing the environment turned his head right or left.
Pitch
Rotates the environment map as if a person observing it looked up or down.
Roll
Rotates the environment map as if a person observing it tilted his head sideways.
Filter
Diffuses the environment map using one of the following techniques:
None
The environment map is not diffused.
Diffuse
Diffuses the environment map so that when it is reflected off a surface it will create the impression of a diffuse material. This option causes a Radius property to appear that controls the degree to which light is diverted from its regular path.
Scatter
Partially diffuses the environment map so that when it is reflected off a surface it will create the impression of a material that partially scatters light. This option has a Radius property that controls the degree to which light is diverted from its regular path, and a Strength property that controls the amount of light that gets diverted.
Anisotropic
Diffuses an environment map with individual controls for the degree of horizontal and vertical diffusion.
