The Export Animation dialog is only available for animations that have been rendered to memory.
Once the animation has been rendered, click the Export button.
The Export Animation dialog will allow you to chose from the following export types:

The animation is saved as a series of standard images. |

The frames of the animation are packed into a single square image. |

Only a single frame of the animation is exported. |
