Select the Peel layer type within the Layer Lab for an effect where the top material is made into a thin substance that is peeling off of the bottom material. These are the properties that become available when this layer type is selected.

Peel Amount
|
Sets how much of the top material has peeled off.

Peel Depth
|
Controls how far off the bottom material the top material will peel.

Phase
|
Cycles which parts of the noise (defined at the end) are used to specify the locations where the top material will peel.

Stickiness
|
Controls how much of the top material that has not yet peeled off will be stuck to the bottom material.
|
Shadow Length
|
Regulates the length of the shadow that the top material casts onto the bottom material.
|
Shadow Color
|
Modifies the color of the shadow that the top material casts onto the bottom one. Brighter colors will result in a fainter shadow, with white causing the shadow to disappear altogether.

At the bottom of the Layer Lab is a yellow Select Noise box that is responsible for controlling where the top material will peel away. The options appearing within this box are identical to those of the Select Noise node.
