Wound

Select the Wound layer type within the Layer Lab for an effect where the top material forms a thick, possibly fleshy substance that is cut away to reveal the bottom material. These are the properties that become available when this layer type is selected.

Property	Description
Wound Amount	Controls how much of the top material is cut away.
Phase	Cycles which parts of the noise (defined at the end) are used to specify the locations of the wounds.
Buckle Width	The top material will buckle around the wounded areas. This property sets the width of the buckle.
Buckle Depth	Sets how much the top material will buckle, either inwards or outwards.
Cut Width	Controls the width of the fleshy bands between the top material and the bottom one.
Cut Depth	Controls the depth of the fleshy bands between the top material and the bottom one.
Cut Translucency	Adjusts the translucency of the fleshy bands.
Cut Shine	Controls how shiny the fleshy bands appear to be.
Cut Speckle Density	The fleshy bands between the top material and the bottom one are constructed by speckling together the two colors selected below. This property will control the sizes of those speckles.
Cut Color 1	Sets the first of the two colors forming the fleshy bands.
Cut Color 2	Sets the second color of the fleshy bands.

At the bottom of the Layer Lab is a yellow Select Noise box that is responsible for controlling the locations of the wounds. The options appearing within this box are identical to those of the Select Noise node.
