Section Overview
The Modify Colors section of the Substance Lab gives the option to modify the colors of the base texture defined in the previous section only in specific areas, according to a noise. For example, instead of wishing to redden your entire texture, you may want to apply red discolorations to only some areas of your texture, which can be done with this section. The yellow Select Noise box towards the bottom of this section is used to specify the locations of the texture that will receive the adjustments.
Properties
At the bottom of the Modify Colors section is a yellow Select Noise box that is responsible for controlling the locations of the texture that will receive the color adjustments specified by the properties described above. The options appearing within this box are identical to those of the Select Noise node. Please note that the Select Noise box will be grayed out (or disabled) if all of the above properties are set to neutral values that wouldn't result in any change in the image. If this is the case, first make adjustments in the properties above to enable the box.
