The unsurpassed quality of Genetica's
seamless textures allows designers to model with fewer polygons while
maintaining top quality standards. The following 3D scene is comprised
of only 94 rectangular polygons. The 13 crates account for 78 of these
polygons (six polygons each), while the rest of the scene makes use of
only 16 polygons! In addition, since the designer used only ready-made
texture presets that come with Genetica, making this scene was a snap!

used in the above scene is one of Genetica's preset
textures. Genetica comes with over 100 preset textures that
can be used straight away or edited to taste. |

Stop making textures that get blurry when your users move close to them.
This zoom-in from the top left corner of the above scene illustrates the
near limitless detail of Genetica textures. |

Pre-rendered highlights and shadows
This zoom-in is of the
sliding door at the top right of the above scene. Since highlights
and shadows were pre-rendered as part of the texture, the designer was
able to construct the door from a single rectangular polygon.

Easily
repurposed textures This zoom-in is of one of the crates at
the bottom center of the scene. Genetica includes a crate preset
that allows you to swap the material that the crate is constructed from
in a single step. After selecting a new material, the crate preset
will automatically cut it into boards, assemble them properly, and add
nails and shadows as shown to the left. |
